I’m keeping this review updated as a factual record of my experience with ADVG.
I placed an order on 8 August 2026 for an ADVG SkiErg and AirBike bundle costing just under £1,000.
Update — 10 August, 12:40pm: I have received no order confirmation email, no reply to my email, no response through online contact, and I have been unable to speak to anyone using the published phone number.
My main concern is that with equipment at this price, reliable after-sales and warranty support is important.
I will continue to update this review fairly with any response, dispatch information, delivery experience, product quality, warranty support or refund outcome.
Update 13:52 — ADVG have now replied and confirmed the order is being processed and both machines are covered by warranty. I’m awaiting dispatch/delivery information.
Update – 10 August, 2:15pm: Jonathan has now replied, confirmed the order is being processed and explained that tracking should be provided within 48 hours once received from the third-party courier. He also confirmed both items are covered as described.
I’ve updated this review to 5 stars based on the response and clarification received. I’ll continue to keep the review updated with the delivery and product experience so it reflects the full process fairly.
Update – 10 August, 9:20pm: ADVG have now followed up again and sent me the Pall-Ex tracking details for the order. Jonathan has also been responsive this evening and the order is clearly progressing.
I’ve been advised that the equipment is being sent by pallet delivery, and I’ve already provided a note on the order asking the driver to call because the postcode can direct satnav away from the correct address.
Communication has improved significantly since my initial concerns, so the review remains at 5 stars. I’ll update again once the delivery has arrived and I’ve had a chance to inspect and use the equipment.
Update – 11 August, 8:50pm: Jonathan has continued to be very responsive and has now helped me with the correct tracking website. The consignment is live in the pallet network and currently shows as due for delivery on 13 August 2026.
Tracking now shows the pallet moving through the network, including a scan onto the trunk vehicle, so everything is progressing as expected.
Communication has been very good since my initial concern, and at this stage the 5-star rating is fully deserved. I’ll update again once the equipment has been delivered and I’ve had a chance to inspect and use it.
Update – 14 August, 12:30pm: The ADVG SkiErg and AirBike have now arrived.
Delivery has been completed successfully and the equipment is here. I haven’t unboxed or assembled either machine yet, so I’ll update the review again once I’ve checked everything over, put them together and had a chance to use them properly.
So far, after the initial communication concerns, the rest of the process has gone smoothly and the 5-star rating remains deserved.

Very solid bike. Great customer service and all around good experience so far. Don’t waste money on a more expensive item if you don’t have to. This bike erg ticks all the boxes and is a unit.
Could do with better assembly instructions though but just treat it as a puzzle 😂

ADVG ski erg machine is absolutely amazing. The minute it arrived I set it up and only took me about 20 mins to do so without reading any instruction. I’ve tested it out and I can’t knock it, it’s perfect.
As soon as I purchased it, communication was great and even the delivery driver kept me notified of the delivery.
I would recommend buying this product.

Really good robust ADVG Stairmaster machine at a good price. Communications, service and delivery all good too.
This stairmaster at circa 2K is nearly as good as the 'big brand' ones you'll find in the commercial gyms - just not quite as big and no where near as expensive.
I am using it for a home gym and can do everything on it I do at a commercial gym, i.e. one step at a time, lunging two steps, side steps, reverse steps etc. Also the 'stop' function is very good and it stops almost immediately.
It's a proper stairmaster machine so its big and comes fully assembled, other than the handrails and console. One to think about if you are maneuvering into a home gym - or like me, into a home gym at the end of a garden and up two flights of stairs - that was a work out in itself.
Also you need at least 2.43m / 8 Feet ceiling height for most people to comfortably use it - more if you are taller. I am 5'11 and just about get away with 8' ceiling.
An excellent addition to my home gym - thank you ADVG.

I rarely give reviews but ADVG are spot on, from the minute I placed the order for my StepMaster I had many questions about delivery and logistics and Johnathan could not have been more helpful. Everything went very smoothly and the StepMaster itself is really great quality.

We bought and assault bike / air bike from ADVG. Unfortunately it had a small issue with it, (no fault of the company, just a random manufacturing fault) and they really took care of us! They sent us the necessary parts to try to resolve the issue, and failing that they replaced the equipment for us! Really impressed with ADVG customer service and the whole experience. I run a small gym in York, and companies like this with caring customer support are so refreshing when trying hard to run my business.
Only just received the bike and now put together. Seems to be well built. Instruction leaflet wasn’t complete so only had part instructions. Rating based on ownership after only 1-day and 1 use

I was a bit sceptical at first but the reviews and speaking to Jonathan put my mind at ease.
The only constructive criticism I can offer is the bike is not adjustable and as standard mine has very little resistance compared to other assault bikes I've used. However if you increase your output, you get very effective workout using it so its not a major issue at all.
Kit was straightforward to put together.

Amazed by the outcome! Having used Concept 2 kit in a number of gyms and competitions, I have been after a Skierg & Bike Erg for my own studio to facilitate my Hyrox training. I was very skeptical at the price difference and if everything was legitimate. John at ADVG provided excellent customer service, knowledge and honesty about the products.
Both items have arrived on time and were easy to assemble. Any questions I had, I was able to call John and he was extremely helpful. The kit looks brilliant and so far is just like Concept 2. Has completed my studio off for me nicely and saved some money.

I am a professional boxer and use this bit of kit every other night since I got it, very sturdy bit of equipment!

ADVG Bike Erg
I've owned the ADVG bike erg for about a week now so this review is just my initial thoughts on the product and overall customer service to date.
I've been using a concept 2 bike erg at my local gym on almost a daily basis and wanted to invest in a bike erg but my budget was limited. After seeing the reviews for ADVG I thought I'd take a punt and buy one for my garage gym.
Jon at ADVG has been amazing and answered questions and queries prior to purchasing and responds quickly.
The sale transaction was smooth and the warranty is reassuring.
ADVG was only a 45 minute drive from me so I opted to collect it. The bike is particularly heavy, about 60kg's but the packaging was excellent and the wooden storage box is pretty cool looking (has ADVG painted on to the box), so much so, I'll be using it as cable attachment board on the wall of the gym at some point.
Assembly was very easy and took me about 10 minutes. It took longer to open the box and remove the bubble wrap.
The bike has wheels at the front so is relatively easy to manoeuvre however a handle at or around the seat post would make this a little easier but this is only something very minor to comment on.
On first using the bike, there is very little difference I can notice between this and the concept 2. The feel of the resistance, when pedaling is almost identical. I find the seat relatively comfortable and the adjustable handlebar/seat makes it easy to set to your preferred position.
The digital monitor is very easy to use and has similar functions to the concept 2.
My works laptop fits nicely on the handle bats so I can read through some emails while pedaling away.
The bottle holder is convenient the handle bars are comfortable.
I noticed a small amount of play in the pedal mechanism when first using it however after a quick message to Jon, it turned out I just needed to tighten a few bolts where the pedal assembly connects to the crank (probably loosened during transit). Jon was on hand to help and responded quickly to my questions.
I really can't fault the customer services and support, to date.
I am aware that concept 2 are well know for their customer services, replacement parts and after sales care. I queried the availability of parts and support provided with the warranty and Jon reassures me if there are any issues it will be covered by the warranty and he has replacement parts available if they are required.
To summarise, a great bit of kit with great customer services and support.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase further gym items from ADVG in the future.
I will aim to provide a further review between 6 and 12 months of use.

The bike is particularly heavy, about 60kg's but the packaging was excellent and the wooden storage box is pretty cool looking (has ADVG painted on to the box), so much so, I'll be using it as cable attachment board on the wall of the gym at some point.
Assembly was very easy and took me about 10 minutes. It took longer to open the box and remove the bubble wrap.
The bike has wheels at the front so is relatively easy to manoeuvre however a handle at or around the seat post would make this a little easier but this is only something very minor to comment on.
On first using the bike, there is very little difference I can notice between this and the concept 2. The feel of the resistance, when pedaling is almost identical. I find the seat relatively comfortable and the adjustable handlebar/seat makes it easy to set to your preferred position.
The digital monitor is very easy to use and has similar functions to the concept 2.
My works laptop fits nicely on the handle bats so I can read through some emails while pedaling away.
The bottle holder is convenient the handle bars are comfortable.
I noticed a small amount of play in the pedal mechanism when first using it however after a quick message to Jon, it turned out I just needed to tighten a few bolts where the pedal assembly connects to the crank (probably loosened during transit). Jon was on hand to help and responded quickly to my questions.
I really can't fault the customer services and support, to date.
I am aware that concept 2 are well know for their customer services, replacement parts and after sales care. I queried the availability of parts and support provided with the warranty and Jon reassures me if there are any issues it will be covered by the warranty and he has replacement parts available if they are required.
To summarise, a great bit of kit with great customer services and support.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase further gym items from ADVG in the future.
I will aim to provide a further review between 6 and 12 months of use.

Fantastic product, doesn't come with velcro patch. However I took it from the first run yesterday and was very pleased with the way that it has been stitched together... I'll be testing its durability over the next couple of months, there are no weights included within this product. I bought the green and blue one, as part of my company Warhorse Training where we provide functional fitness based around marine style circuits and martial arts like Kickboxing and Shotokan in the Wiltshire area (Swindon) The customer service was fantastic. Was looking for a concept 2 rower but they are a bit expensive. Found ADVG who suggested their advanced athleticgear rower which is identical to to concept rower, in fact I used the concept online video to set it up and it was absolutely exactly the same . I was naturally cautious in purchasing and so looked up ADVG on trustpilot and also on eBay where they also have a shop , excellent reviews on both . Having met Jon today I can absolutely put your mind to rest that he is a thoroughly descent guy, very helpful and took time to help me get the rower into my car . What can I say? Jona rescued me from a miserable Christmas! My partner had ordered adjustable dumbbells from somewhere else which turned out to be a scam. So I was very wary buying from a warehouse in Wales coupled with Jona’s lack of activity on his Facebook profile. Anyhow, he sent me a video of himself in the warehouse, and I was reassured that doing it through PayPal offered me protection so went ahead and ordered.
They arrived soon afterwards and I was delighted with the build quality, and at a very reasonable rate too.

My husband brought a curved treadmill and bike erg for our home gym but as a personal trainer and sometimes needing to work from home I wanted equipment that was commercial grade quality rather than the cheaper “home gym” stuff. These certainly didn’t disappoint and as someone who has also used named brand equipment these are pretty much identical but at a fraction of the cost.

I bought the 40kg weights. The weights are excellent quality. I had a different version of the 24kg weights previously and they had problems with selecting the weights, plates kept getting stuck. The quality of the equipment itself is excellent and performs exactly as expected.Unfortunately, the machine arrived with the rear battery box missing. Ordered my bike erg to try and get it before the Easter weekend. Arrived before I expected. Solid bit of kit and really easy to put together (bar the fact that the instructions aren’t complete). The folks on the end of the support emails are really responsive and have answered all my questions quickly and without issue.

I was a bit sceptical at first but the reviews and speaking to Jonathan put my mind at ease.
The only constructive criticism I can offer is the bike is not adjustable and as standard mine has very little resistance compared to other assault bikes I've used. However if you increase your output, you get very effective workout using it so its not a major issue at all.

Won’t answer any calls or emails regarding the equipment malfunctioning - the bike gears don’t alter, the handle bars are exceptionally loose and display screen works sporadically . It look good in the box but after taken it home and assembled it was of very good Quality and took about 45 mins to build.
Have used the concept 2 in the Gym and Tournament and this is of equal quality but at a fraction of the cost.

Amazed by the outcome! Having used Concept 2 kit in a number of gyms and competitions, I have been after a Skierg & Bike Erg for my own studio to facilitate my Hyrox training. I was very skeptical at the price difference and if everything was legitimate. John at ADVG provided excellent customer service, knowledge and honesty about the products.
Both items have arrived on time and were easy to assemble. Any questions I had, I was able to call John and he was extremely helpful. The kit looks brilliant and so far is just like Concept 2. Has completed my studio off for me nicely and saved some money.

There was good communication from the start of my order.. There was a slight problem when my bike turned up and no seat was inside the box, but this wasn't a problem as Jonathan sorted straight away and was with me within a couple days. The products are great quality.

Ordered a bike erg as it was half the price of a Concept 2 and was pleasantly surprised for it to turn up and be almost identical.
I am a professional boxer and use this bit of kit every other night since I got it, very sturdy bit of equipment!
On delivery of the item the guys had messaged me to see if everything went smoothly and a small bit of plastic had snapped that holds the screen! The team were super helpful and had the replacement sent out next day! Really great service and experience!

I've owned the ADVG bike erg for about a week now so this review is just my initial thoughts on the product and overall customer service to date.
I've been using a concept 2 bike erg at my local gym on almost a daily basis and wanted to invest in a bike erg but my budget was limited. After seeing the reviews for ADVG I thought I'd take a punt and buy one for my garage gym.
Jon at ADVG has been amazing and answered questions and queries prior to purchasing and responds quickly.
The sale transaction was smooth and the warranty is reassuring.
ADVG was only a 45 minute drive from me so I opted to collect it. The bike is particularly heavy, about 60kg's but the packaging was excellent and the wooden storage box is pretty cool looking (has ADVG painted on to the box), so much so, I'll be using it as cable attachment board on the wall of the gym at some point.
Assembly was very easy and took me about 10 minutes. It took longer to open the box and remove the bubble wrap.
The bike has wheels at the front so is relatively easy to manoeuvre however a handle at or around the seat post would make this a little easier but this is only something very minor to comment on.
On first using the bike, there is very little difference I can notice between this and the concept 2. The feel of the resistance, when pedaling is almost identical. I find the seat relatively comfortable and the adjustable handlebar/seat makes it easy to set to your preferred position.
The digital monitor is very easy to use and has similar functions to the concept 2.
My works laptop fits nicely on the handle bats so I can read through some emails while pedaling away.
The bottle holder is convenient the handle bars are comfortable.
I noticed a small amount of play in the pedal mechanism when first using it however after a quick message to Jon, it turned out I just needed to tighten a few bolts where the pedal assembly connects to the crank (probably loosened during transit). Jon was on hand to help and responded quickly to my questions.
I really can't fault the customer services and support, to date.
I am aware that concept 2 are well know for their customer services, replacement parts and after sales care. I queried the availability of parts and support provided with the warranty and Jon reassures me if there are any issues it will be covered by the warranty and he has replacement parts available if they are required.
To summarise, a great bit of kit with great customer services and support.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase further gym items from ADVG in the future.
I will aim to provide a further review between 6 and 12 months of use.

Found a set of hex dumbbells at ADVG which were the cheapest anywhere, so went ahead and took the plunge, and I'm so glad I did! Had communication from Jonathan immediately, who gave me a tracking number, and I received my dumbbells in Cornwall 4 days later. Quality items at a great price, I would definitely recommend, and will use again!

Rower matches up pretty well to the concept 2 so if your looking for a concept 2 this one is about half the price and well worth it for the money .

Been looking at curve treadmills for a while and saw the ADVG ones on fb and ebay at a good price, was a bit suspicious with it being online. Rang the number and spoke to Jono who explained everything - I took the plunge and placed the order and still felt a bit unsure paying in advance of delivery but there was no need it turned up a few days later. The treadmill is a beast - really pleased with it, very sturdy and some great features. Jono available with any queries from ordering/delivery through to installation. I can assure you its not scam!!

I don’t normally write reviews but credit where it’s due. Bought the ADVG Air Bike after much research. I knew how good the Assault bikes are but couldn’t justify the cost for my home gym. After a quick reassuring chat with ADVG and being naturally sceptical because of the cost in comparison to the Assault Bike I took the plunge. My concern was that at this price it wouldn’t stand up to a hammering and maybe wouldn’t give the workout I was after. I’m glad to say that I needn’t have worried. The bike is a solid bit of kit that is every bit as good as the assault bike I had been using in the local gym.
I did have a bit of a glitch with my monitor but after I contacted ADVG they supplied a replacement monitor which arrived in the post the very next day (can’t fault that for service). Great bike, great price and first class service.

Recently purchased for my home gym, as a way to up my cardio game. So glad I did as although it lacks instructions, it’s simple to put together. The bike is sturdy, easy to navigate the CPU and works just as good/ if not the same as it’s concept 2 counterparts and here’s the best part for a fraction of the cost too.

Having met Jon today I can absolutely put your mind to rest that he is a thoroughly descent guy, very helpful and took time to help me get the rower into my car . Very impressed with this rower, having been a long time C2 Concept Rower user in the gym. This is practically identical. Perhaps not quite the quality of the C2 - but as its for me to use at home, it's perfect at practically half the price. Have to say it has exceeded my expectations on quality. Top service felt too good to be true at the price sold but the equipment received is top quality at such great value. It was legit, and I was happy with the product. The seller even changed the delivery address after Ebay messed it all up however, they lose a star because Parcel 2 Go the delivery company of choice is a bad company and I wouldn't recommend them.
They said it be delivered on the 7th and it never came, it was only when I persued legal action that 4 days later it arrived. By legal action I mean filing a complaint.
The sellers are good people, but the delivery company sucks, consider using dpd. They said After I ordered cast iron weighted plates on friday it would arrive the following monday but instead they delivered it the next day.

I was initially dubious as I’ve never seen a brand new Barbell for such a low price, however I purchased it on eBay from Jonathan and the experience was great! He kept in touch via phone, even in his own time and then allowed me to pick a collection time which he honoured favourably. The product is superb and I will most definitely be going back to him for more equipment. Really pleased with both the product and the excellent service. His business will do very well if he continues to operate in this way.

The communication and support from Jonathan is excellent, but the product is superb. I wasn’t sure if I should go for a traditional treadmill or the curved manual, but am so glad I chose the ADVG. It feels like a commercial piece of kit and has proved an instant hit in my house.

Good positive engagement when dialing weight selection. No wobble of plates associated with other makes. The stand is a must. Didn't think i would need it but worth it 100% as it stops you thinking about dropping them. All equipment V well packaged.

Absolute pleasure dealing with ADVG throughout my purchase. I bought an AirBike (Assault Bike) and a pair of 32KG dumbbells. Both were packaged well, with no missing parts etc. The dumbbells were ready to use but the AirBike was self assembly. After initially wondering whether it may be awkward to assemble - I can confirm it was simple! Literally 4/5 parts to screw together and it’s ready to go.
The company owner Jona was communicative and quick to reply to any queries I had during the purchase. I can’t vouch for delivery as I collected my items from his base in Cardiff but I can only assume it’s as professional as the rest of the set up.
Prices were excellent. I spent a considerable time looking for the best deal and couldn’t find anything as competitive. I’m really pleased with the items and process - couldn’t speak highly enough!
